Is AP Mathematics necessary for students who wish to study Health Sciences?
This question is frequently asked. Students must remember that most universities initially select candidates for Medicine and other health sciences and then their Grade 11 averages are of paramount importance. The subject AP Mathematics will not add any extra benefit to a Health Science application; in some cases it is recommended that students take fewer subjects so that they can focus on getting a higher average in Grade 11.
